Man accused of attacking women in Brampton parks Cops
A 19-year-old Brampton man is accused of separate daylight attacks against two women in city parks.
Article contentPeel Regional Police say on Sept. 15, at 10:55 a.m., a man was in Massey Park in Brampton and approached the first woman and forcibly grabbed her by the shoulder.
Police say she was able to break free and proceeded to call for help while the man ran off into the parkâs wooded area.
Then on Sept. 21, at about 11:30 a.m., police say a man on a bicycle approached a second woman in Jayfield Park in Brampton, assaulted her and fled the area.
Police believe the same man was behind both assaults.
On Tuesday, investigators with the Special Victims Unit along with officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau arrested a suspect.
Paul Yousif is charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

Investigators are concerned about the possibility of other victims and are appealing for help from anyone who may have information relating to these two incidents.
