Toronto cops ID suspect accused of night-prowling
With the public’s help, police have identified an alleged night prowler in the city’s Leslieville neighbourhood.
Article contentToronto Police say they’ve received reports of a man targeting various residences in the Dundas St. E. and Leslie St. area. The man is in the area in the evening and into the early hours of the morning and is attempting to gain access to the homes, police say.
Gerard Silas Purcell, 40, of no fixed address, is wanted for two counts of attempt break and enter, two counts of prowl by night, and criminal harassment.

The suspect has been seen travelling on a bicycle on a few occasions.
The suspect is described as 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with a medium build and is bald.
Police have released security camera video footage.
